The educational system in the Netherlands

In the Netherlands, higher education is organized around three-cycle degrees: bachelor's, master's, and PhD's. Applied sciences universities offer professional higher education programs, whereas research universities offer research-oriented degree programs. The HBO's are more like collages and the WO's follow the real university curriculums. As an international student, you can apply to both. Just keep in mind which type of higher educational institution suits you the best.

Check out what and where you want to study at the Studyportals:

2.STEP

Go to Studielink where can apply to your chosen University or College:

https://www.studielink.nl/

3.STEP

Check the University pages for the enrolment requirements. It can differ based on the country that you are applying from .

4.STEP

Upload every document or previous education diploma to the page provided by the University.

5.STEP

Wait until you receive the conditional acceptance letter from the Uni. Keep in mind that you might be expected to provide some documents.

Hand in all of the required documents and wait for the final decision.

Pay the tuition fee for the first year.
